Liverpool Echo Arena

Opened in 2008 as part of the European Capital of Culture, Liverpool Echo Arena, now renamed the M&S Bank Arena, is Liverpool's premier entertainment venue. The 10,600 seat M&S Bank Arena Liverpool is joined to the Convention Centre by a central Galleria, making it the only arena and convention centre under one roof in the whole of Europe. Sitting on the waterfront and within 20 minutes walking distance from us, the venue has played host to a string of international events, including the MTV Europe Music Awards, BBC Sports Personality of the Year & Cirque du Soleil!

Anfield Stadium

No football fan’s visit to Liverpool is complete without a trip to Anfield. The seventh largest stadium in England has been home to Liverpool Football Club since it began in 1892. Goodison Stadium

Goodison Park Stadium was the first major football stadium to be built in England. The stadium may be home of the Liverpool Blues, but sits just a 20 minute walk away from the home of the Liverpool Reds, no doubt intensifying the long-standing rivalry between the two sides.

Philharmonic Hall

Take an 11 minute walk from our hotel in Liverpool’s city centre and, located on Hope Street within the city's Georgian Quarter, you’ll find the Philharmonic Hall. An art-deco style Grade II listed building, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is one of the world's oldest concert societies. With the award-winning Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at its heart, alongside various associated ensembles and concert series, the hall remains one of the city’s best-loved locations. 

The Cavern Club

The legendary Cavern Club has played host to all manner of illustrious figures from Liverpudlian musical history. This underground cellar started life in 1957 as a jazz and skiffle joint, before playing an instrumental role in the birth of the Beatles. Lennon and McCartney played here in the Quarrymen before forming the Fab Four and setting up for almost 300 gigs on its stage. It’s colourful wall covered in the names of the bands who graced its stage remains one of the most popular selfie spots.
